Growing up in a small prairie community in Manitoba shaped who I am both as a player and as a person. Prairie Proud was created to give young girls the same opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence through hockey.
My goal is to create an environment where girls feel supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their potential. More than a hockey camp, Prairie Proud is about developing strong, confident young women, creating lasting memories, and sharing the values that have guided me throughout my journey.

What We Have Planned
Ice Training
Develop your skating, puck skills, and game awareness through focused on-ice sessions led by experienced coaches. Athletes will work on skating technique, edge control, puck handling, passing, shooting, and game situations designed to help them become more confident and effective players.
Team Building
Great teams are built on trust, communication, and confidence. Through interactive activities and group challenges, athletes will develop leadership skills, strengthen friendships, learn effective goal-setting strategies, and build the confidence needed to succeed both in hockey and in life.
Off Ice Training
Performance starts away from the rink. Through off-ice workouts and skill sessions, athletes will learn movement fundamentals, athletic development principles, stickhandling techniques, and shooting mechanics that can be applied directly to their game.
Q&A and Autograph session
Spend time with Ashton and ask questions about her journey from rural Manitoba to the professional and international stage. Athletes will also have the opportunity to connect with and learn from the other female coaches involved in the camp, gaining valuable insights from different experiences and perspectives. It’s a unique chance to learn about high-performance hockey and take home a few memorable keepsakes.
