About Me
My Story
Rooted in
the Prairies
I grew up in Deloraine, Manitoba, where hockey was part of everyday life. Early mornings at the rink, small-town support, and a love for the game shaped who I am today. Those experiences taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and staying grounded no matter where the game takes you.
My journey has taken me from university hockey at the University of Minnesota Duluth, where I made the transition from forward to defense, to competing on the biggest stages in the world. Representing Team Canada and winning Olympic and World Championship gold medals are moments I’ll carry with me forever. Today, I’m proud to continue my career in the PWHL, helping build something special in Vancouver while pushing myself to reach new levels.
Off the ice, I’m all about staying true to who I am. I love spending time with my dog and horses, being outdoors, and finding the small things that keep me balanced. Whether it’s through hockey, community projects, or connecting with young athletes, my goal is to give back to the game that’s given me so much and inspire the next generation to chase what’s possible.
